I have the attention span of a gnat these days. Although, knowing nothing about gnats other than their persistence at annoyance, maybe that’s not a good example. I would look for other examples, but I can’t concentrate long enough.
I was thrilled to finally have time to read all the books I’ve purchased this past year, but three pages into any one of them and I’ve already forgotten what I read on page one. If there was ever a time for microfiction to come into its own it’s now.
Today, The Coil has featured three stories from my micro collection, “Tender Cuts.” You can read each in about the time it takes to swat a gnat.
And please drop links to your under-300-word micros in the comments for me to read and share.
Stay well and safe, my friends.
